The Jesus Pattern Network is built on Jesus’ visionary statement delivered as he met the frightened disciples right after His resurrection from the grave and death’s defeat.

Gathered and anxious in a closed room, Jesus appears in the flesh and calms those gathered with these words, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” (John 20:21)

These words of peace and purpose were a turning point for Jesus’ followers. Seeing Jesus in the flesh, hearing Him talk, and receiving their marching orders, the church was launched in the power of the risen Christ!

Then in Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus provides his followers with their mission statement: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
